  Some amazing programs here, BUT...
  Not a place to connect with others. Services seem a bit old-fashioned and stodgy. No small groups where you can connect. Not very welcoming or accepting. Not reaching out to those around them in need. Pastor is gone during the summer, and I've heard some really boring sermons in his absence. I just couldn't connect enough to stick this out at all. Too old-fashioned and traditional Baptist for me.

  I was seeking help from this church for some assistance with my rent. i came across a rough time in the beginning of this month. Keep in mind i was not just asking for a hand out i desperately needed help and still do. I turned in my paperwork for the assistance i was seeking and never heard anything back. So, i decided to go up there, just to check on the status and the receptionist called someone and he came to the front. He didn't not say hello. All he said was "WE CAN'T HELP YOU SORRY ". then turned away with no explanation. I was hurt, so i ask the receptionist could she call him back up there so i can ask why. She did. He came back and said it was confidentiality and some system denied me. This situation is concerning me. How can it be confidentiality. Thank you Roy Williamson for being unsympathetic . Also, i was referred by a church member that assured me that some type of assistance will be given.

  Finally I found a real church to enjoy the time spending with and for God.
